Our roots run way back to 1958 to an entrepreneurial initiative of Late Mr. Yeshwant Narayan Chaphekar (Founder), with a modest tool room & press shop. Building on that history, we have grown into a multimillion, multi product business with vast client base across the country and are known for sheet metal fabrication capability. Today, we provide automotive assemblies and components to India’s prominent leaders in the automobile and engineering industry. History
This inspiring story dates back to 1958, when Late Mr. Y. N. Chaphekar – a man with great zeal, the founder and a visionary, setup a one-man press shop. Despite limited formal education and nonexistent financial base, he worked rock like and continued to rise with his highly developed technical skills and brilliant craftsmanship. Endowed with great die making skills, he soon attracted the attention of the lions in the auto and engineering industries. That’s how the success story took shape and Chaphekar Engineering came out as one big name in the industry. With an unstoppable spirit, he continued to expand horizons from die making to manufacturing precision tools and sheet metal press parts for the industries. Small wonder then, he earned marvelous recognition not only for his achievements but also for his sense of innovation. An era has passed since then, but the learning has never ended. The journey continues!
